Please note that this position is based in San Diego, CA. Acadia's hybrid model requires this role to work in our office three days per week on average.

As a Senior Product Manager, Consumer Marketing, you will play a key role in the implementation of the Rare disease strategy. You will contribute to the consumer strategy  and execute on the tactics aligned to the rare disease franchise.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the overarching strategic engagement plan for the Rett community to drive brand awareness.
  • Support Caregiver Educational programs, including content development, relationship management and event oversight.
  • Manage and Implement patient CRM strategy for both unbranded disease education and branded promotions that align with the patient journey
  • Manage internal and external partners on day-to-day program execution and optimization of branded and unbranded web properties ensuring they drive toward strategic goals.
  • Manage analytics on all consumer marketing activities such as media, websites, email marketing and social media
  • Support Caregiver advisory boards
  • Support Caregiver initiatives that may include educational programs, live events and materials, guest speakers, advisory boards, testimonials, video, and photo shoots, etc.
  • Manage label updates to branded materials.
  • Partner with Commercial Operations to manage the training, printing, and fulfillment for consumer materials, including translations.
  • Actively manage multiple agency partners to ensure execution on agreed timelines, budget, and quality deliverables.
  • Ensure execution of Marketing activities in compliance with Medical, Regulatory and Legal requirements and processes.
  • Participates in and adheres to MLR submission and review processes.
  • Develops and delivers presentations as needed to commercial leadership and other internal groups.
  • Adheres to all corporate policies and industry guidelines in a compliant manner.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.  5+ years of demonstrated experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry within marketing.  Digital marketing experience a plus.  Consumer marketing experience in rare disease a plus. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.

  • Consumer pharmaceutical marketing experience and/or multi-channel, digital media, social media experience, inclusive of CRM, display, social media, email, website, and digital measurement plans
  • Operational knowledge of medical, regulatory, legal review process
  • Rare disease experience preferred
  • Passion for patients
  • Good verbal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to interface and collaborate with other departments to achieve business goals.
  • Able to build and maintain effective working relationships.

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of time.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, see, talk or hear in a standard office environment and independently from remote locations. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Ability to travel by car or airplane independently overnight up to 20% of the time and work after hours if required by travel schedule or business issues.

In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for discretionary bonus and equity awards based on factors such as individual and organizational performance. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance, and location. 

Salary Range
$108,000$135,500 USD
